 I have enjoyed drawing and painting most of my life.

 

After growing up in Kansas, I now have the luxury of living in beautiful Southern California, where the weather is temperate all year.

 

It allows me to paint outdoors, and enjoy the fresh air, and people walking by. The beaches and mountains, and every turn of the head, supplies something gorgeous to try to capture on canvas.

 

 I also enjoy painting still life in my studio. It calls for a different challenge, focusing on light, value, and luminosity, in a controlled environment.

And occasionally, I like to work abstractly. I like to use different textures, loose paint, and be unrestricted in the final outcome.

Painting is my passion.  I feel very blessed to have this gift to share with the world.
